Project Summary
  The Lemhi Regional Land Trust purchased the conservation easement of 300 acres of working ranchland in cooperation with The Nature Conservancy. Funds were provided by the Natural Resources Conservation Service, The Doris Duke Charitable Foundation, and the Page Foundation.

Project Goals
  The McFarland Family's goal was to ensure the future agricultural availability of this productive parcel whilcreating permanent protection for the one mile section of Carmen Creek and its associated habitat for Chinook Salmon, steelhead trout, and many other wildlife species found on the property
